Specification

Aluminium sheet (Grade 1050A) has excellent corrosion resistance and good ductility.

Please familarise yourself with our plasma guide, additional design points to consider:-

  • Recommended minimum hole size is 2 x thickness (industry standard for plasma cutting).
  • Cutting available only (no engraving).

Cutting Offsets (kerf width / laser cut line width)

2mm thick material = approx. 0.7mm (note this is compenstated in software)

Internal lead-in / out lengths minimum 3mm (please refer to our plasma guide to understand how this can effect your cut / design.
